Lee Ana Hess

Lee Ana Hess is an accomplished program manager and community leader with extensive experience in nonprofit management, volunteer coordination, and business development. She is pursuing an MBA as a Forte Fellow at the University of Notre Dame and holds a Bachelor’s in International Business and Hispanic Literature from Roberts Wesleyan College. Her career began with AmeriCorps as a Vista Fellow at the University of Rochester. She then served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic, leading a literacy program that significantly improved literacy rates among over 600 students. Upon returning to the U.S., she became the Program Manager for a nonprofit in Rochester, NY, enhancing volunteer recruitment and retention and managing a team that processed thousands of tax returns, saving clients significant costs. Concurrently, she worked as a Program Coordinator at a Business Center, launching a bilingual business training program for minority and women entrepreneurs.
